Train and play with an authentic Capoeira Berimbau handcrafted to order by Brazilian Contra Mestre Zap (our own Carlos).
Each Berimbau is individually handcrafted using premium Brazilian Biriba wood and traditional Brazilian components. With decades of Capoeira experience, Carlos carefully builds every instrument for training, rodas, performances, and everyday practice.
Whether you’re buying your very first Berimbau or adding another instrument to your collection, you’ll receive a handcrafted instrument made with attention to detail and respect for Capoeira tradition.

Handmade to Order
Every Berimbau is made individually rather than mass-produced. Because Biriba wood and Cabaças are natural materials, each instrument has its own unique grain, color, shape, and character, making every Berimbau one of a kind.
Shipping Information
To comply with international shipping size restrictions, the Verga is crafted at approximately 147 cm (58 in), allowing shipment to most countries.
Due to its size, Berimbaus are shipped via Express International Delivery (door to door) to help ensure safe and reliable transportation.
Please note for customers in Australia: Current shipping regulations limit the maximum parcel length to 1 meter, so unfortunately we are unable to ship full-size Berimbaus to Australia at this time.
